HELLO everybody!!!!
How are you??? I hope you’re doing fine! hehe SO, let’s here are SOME of the highlights that happened this week........
Okay so, my team and I finished the sequence for tool 1 on tuesday! BUT idk WHY, it was so buggy!!! :@ Sometimes the text-box doesn’t appear, and it crashes repeatedly when we tried to review it!
Hence, I’ve decided to COMPRESS EVERYTHING WE CAN COMPRESS - Audio - Text-boxes - Progress Status - Home Page/Tool Page/Tool Information Page Icons & background - Attire Page - Buttons - After Effects(2D) Animations From like 500KB to like 12KB??????!!!!!! dats krazy
[LEMME SIDE TRACK kkkkkk - yes we’ve added a ATTIRE PAGE & TOOL INFORMATION PAGE - ATTIRE PAGE: the attire rules from the workshop
- TOOL INFORMATION PAGE: Tools that the user would need before arranging the workstation! They can click on the individual tools once they have obtained it.
]
okay so, after compressing we tried to put everything to vuforia studio again, it was WAY faster than before. BUT the text-boxes appear as and when it feels likes..... and we realized it’s because some files have the same name, so vuforia studio DONT KNOW WHICH FILE TO OPEN.
and so we had to RENAME everything AGAIN - UNIQUE NAMES.

On top of that, we had to redo some of our Creo Illustrate animations too. One of it, is the Final Workpiece
1. The Castor Wheel was animated across the Shaft which is INCORRECT, so we had to change the animation in Creo Illustrate 2. gif- old creo SOK 3. AND If the user see the animation from the front view, the Castor Wheel looks like a rectangular block rather than a WHEEL. And therefore, we have to change this from Vuforia Studio - putting it as isometric view!
OKAY so UPDATE UPDATE!!!!
WE HAVE (semi)FINALIZE THE WORKSTATION keke So basically we assembled all the workstation equipments onto a model top, to fix the placement of the tools. After that we export it to Autodesk AutoCad to get the outline! Finally we then print the outline onto a A1 paper!!
We also used the assembly as a guideline for the placement of the tools in Vuforia Studio. hehe so with this, the tools will be relative to where the thingmark is.
Of course, for the final prototype the paper outline will be replaced with wood! We are planning to laser-cut with the outline we have now, so the user can place the respective tools in the individual slot. And also preventing the tools from rolling of the workstation.
We are currently trying to search for the most ideal wood for this application. hmmmmmm What do y’all think????
okay so, hopefully by next week we will be done with tool 2! AND OF COS I HOPE AFTER COMPRESSING AND EVERYTHING THINGS WILL BE SMOOTHER THAN BEFORE :’)
OK SO CURRENT PROBLEMS - we have ISSUES DETECTING TOOL 4 & TOOL 5!!!! Not sure why, but some possibilities are; - Inventor problem? (not detailed enough) - Vuforia Studio?
I’ll update you next week alright!!! keke see you bye
