HELLOOOOOOO

Last week we’ve done our workstation, and decided to compress everything & start over with Vuforia Studio.

So to keep y’all updated, we’ve done all the miscellaneous stuff(Splash Screen, Purpose Page, Attire Page, Workpiece animation, x2 Castor Base, Home Page, Tool Page) & of course Start Project - Tool2 is COMPLETED! hehe

no ERRORS at all so FAR, just need to check if the detection is fast & reliable or not!

So other than the Vuforia Studio, we managed to complete the Loading Bar, Audio & Textboxes for Start Project - Tool 30! hehe hopefully everything will be smooth sailing!

Another update also would be we were abled to detect Tool 4 & 5 AFTER converting the .ipt files(Autodesk Inventor) to .fbx(3DSMAX)!!!! Not sure why but IT WORKS!!! So if y’all have trouble detecting models, here’s one way u could try??? Or if there is any other way do let me know :))))))

As for the workstation, we labeled it accordingly to give the user a better guide, so now we’re just sourcing for wood to laser cut it!!!!

And hopefully by next week we can finish up the textboxes for Work Origin & tool 3 - 30 in Vuforia Studio!

And i’ll see you next week hehe

We gravitate towards things we don't quite understand and we call it genius. By now, you would have already seen some of the features in Vuforia Studio, from the rest of the team's post, plus the sneak peak above/below. You would also have noticed my stone cold absence from Autodesk Inventor since I began learning Vuforia Studio - surely was not an easy task for me as I have limited knowledge on coding. Granted, limited knowledge and software issues that follow me around the clock [are not terribly conductive to articulate...]. As a general Submissions Week rule, all I've wanted to do after long days between learning new coding and recreating 3D models, is to roll myself in a warm blanket, and fall through the bed.

Ironically, and in spite of this brain pit stop, my learning curved have spiked, possibly because I care much less about the lack of knowledge than actually willing to learn new content. It follows, then that this learning curve took just about three hours of my work hours from not knowing anything to clicking and dragging to run the program and then troubleshoot - not because it was hard to grasp, but rather that Khai is incapable of teaching badly.

Talented and smart.

Enough of the small talk.

Khai is no stranger to any of you. Nor is Vuforia Studio. Both make coding look simple and easy to learn before the crack of dawn. Khai's great, his calm and collected attitude makes learning coding less stressful and more productive, but combined with Vuforia Studio's simplicity and intuitive software, this is stuff of magic.

So, while this might not be the weekly glorious Inventor content you were hoping for, I wouldn't say it's too far off from our final production.

While the others are finding coding a breeze, I'm probably off to make some coffee and burn some midnight oil.

All the best & See you!
