HELLO HELLO
To summarize what my team and I have done last week, we’ve done our miscellaneous stuff and tool 2. The text boxes, loading bar & audio was completed as well. The workstation was labeled respectively too!
THIS WEEK: We have COMPLETED with the textboxes, audio & loading bar for Work Origin & Tool 30!!! AND the 3D Model VICE is done as well ready to be CREO ILLUSTRATED
Everything was going very well with Vuforia Studio, annnnnnd TOOL 3 & 30(somewhat) is DONE HEHE. So we went to the workshop to test out the detection for Tool 1, 2, 3, 6.
We were able to detect Tool 6, 2 and 3 and the tool setter for T2 & T3 on Wednesday with my Apple iPhone 7 but not on the Samsung Galaxy Tablet AT ALL??????? It gets all laggy and crashes after a while of trying to detect.
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to detect Tool 1 and the tool setter for T1 at all.....
So on Thursday, we went down to the workshop again to try with an Apple IPad, and OMG the detection rate was MUCH faster than on iPhone or any tablets that we have used!!????? BUUUTTTT OUT OF NOWHERE, WE WERE UNABLE TO DETECT TOOL 2 & 3!!!! and of cos tool 1 as well. But the detection of Tool Setter of Tool 2 & 3 was alright! :( BUT DONT WORRY! We will troubleshoot the error of the respective detection and update you NEXT week!!! :D
And yes, we decided to choose the IPad as our Hardware for our MDP Project hehe!!! #applefan #NOTbiased
And so with the confirmation of detection of Tool 6, we then updated the Tool Page with the .png file! keke
Other than Vuforia Studio, we needed to resize the workstation outline as some of the outlines were too smol for the tools :/
As for the Tool 30 & Work Origin, I am still left with the 3D models, Creo Illustrate animations & 2D animations. We were also asked to reorganize our report!
So for next weeeeeeek, I hope to be done with Work Origin in Vuforia Studio, Report & Cut Now Script!
ONE LAST THING BEFORE I END THIS OFF: We have experimented with Vuforia Studio, and we found out that it IS possible to fix the size of the images to allow any phones or tablets to be displayed! BY USING CSS..... normally we use pixels(px) to size our images, but with the percentage(%), it stays in an absolute form hence it doesn’t change on any devices we use!
