It's always hard starting on a whole new project, especially with very limited knowledge of new machines, software and program. I'm super excited to explore a whole new realm of Augmented Reality (AR). I started with getting all the administrative work done - Excel Sheet to keep track of the team's progress and work completed - then moved on to discover the AR range, comprising of GUI, software and program. I am inspired and motivated by the different types of GUI I've discovered which in the future would help the team greatly when designing our own program and as of today, 4th September, I've had a better understanding of what AR is all about and I've started self-learning the basics of JavaScript.
Subsequently, I started to look into the different types of AR Equipment - Tablets and various AR Glasses - and looked into the different compatible software as well as their operating systems. At the same time, I waited patiently for the Unity software to be installed into my laptop so that I can have a better idea of how the software works and speed up the process for our final project.
With the new found knowledge, I hope to be able to contribute to the team and provide any assistance and opinions when necessary.
