Our next presentation is in about a weeks time, can you believe how quickly time has flown by? This time around, we will be presenting to our co-supervisor, Ms. Wong. Prior to that, the team has made some changes to the user interface - we made changes in the text box, buttons and control panel. Since then, we have updated and created a fixed system to follow through for the next few steps.
Once we've sketched out our storyboard on paper, then we moved on to crafting them on Adobe Illustrator. Here are some examples and how we evolved from our first design to our current final.
On top of that, I'm a step ahead as I have completed creating some tools on Auto CAD Inventor too. Some of the tools I've crafted was - the hammer, lever, gauge, tool setter and tool #1. Crafting the tool was the hardest as it has very intricate designs and measurements that are delicate and precise.
I've tried multiple attempts to recreate the exact tool, however, due to its fine details, it was difficult for me to craft it. In other words, the tool drill bit has very fine drill teeth whereby I had difficulty recreating them. So as advised by Mr. Sufian, he suggested that I could just create the outline of the tool and try it on Vuforia View to see if there are any outcomes. With his guidance, I hope Vuforia View is able to detect all the tools even without the tool details.
I understand, sometimes the struggle is real when recreating intricate details. You're trying to make it detectable - okay, maybe being detailed is a plus. But I hope you'll keep trying and keep going! You just gotta have a lot of patience and get inspired from all around you!
